Dear lover, hope this letter finds you well
Its been awhile but I can't tell
A whole lot of lovers done pass me by
but I still remember how you smell
My Mother asks about you all the time
and I tell her that you're doing fine
I been so lonely without you
i think of turning to a life of crime (?)
have you discovered who you are or why you left
I've been waiting for a long ass while
and the patience I had is spread so thin
and I've developed this nervous smile
Is there another that you hold and that you kiss
taste desperation on my lips
i will tell you one thing this before this door is bricked (?)
we all deserve just what we get

but these days turn into weeks
but I'm doing just fine without you around
I come alive when i walk these streets
tell your mother that I send my best to her

they've been so sweet for all these years
theyd be crushed if we were through
dont be a sucker you need to go and live your life
