Sziget (We Get Wrecked) - Hamfatter

The journey's hard
a see-through plastic bag and no book to read
I spend some lonely hours and I start to think I'll spend my life in Gatwick
'til finally, touchdown in Budapest and

There are no signs
I do not speak a word of Hungarian
I don't know where I'm going
somehow I find my way onto the island
meet up with you
straight to the mainstage to see

Radiohead
we love the music, we get wrecked
Radiohead
we love the music, we get wrecked

in Sziget
like we mean it
in Sziget

The wan2 stage
it's kicking off, the tent is full
I'm at the front, right in the middle and they start to play
Gogol Bordello gypsy punk
we're blown away
it's been a really messed up day

I've drunk too much
I've lost the power of English speech
I jump the fence, climb up on stage and dance with them
afterwards find half our glasses and Christoph
and we rock on until the early hours

Those gypsy punks
we love the music we get wrecked
those gypsy punks
we love the music, we get wrecked

in Sziget
like we mean it
in Sziget

That's where it ends
we get the train home
it's a song in itself
we make it home
by home I mean Vienna
my home from home
sweet home Vienna
wind on one week
it's Patrick's birthday
we are at Vicky's flat
the good times rolling

we get wrecked
(the Summer's not over 'til I cut off my festival bands)
like we did in Sziget
like we really mean it
(the fun is not over 'til I'm lying in my grave)
like we did in Sziget
we get wrecked...
