Skin - The Willing and Wills
It comes wrapped in fur
In cotton in silk in diamonds and in chains
There are 6 billion suits
But no two cuts are ever the same
It burns it bleeds it bruises
Its simple to understand
it masks a million sins
Your never wash it from your hands
It creates disaster famine pain hurt
misery destruction war
And all it is is SKIN
We’ve got black brown yellow white pink red
Every pigmentation in every single shade
The colours may be different
But we are all the same made
Somehow such a simple thing
Gets lost in its translation
Instead of being my brother
Its racisim that rips the nation
Adam and Eve is where it all begun
And whats destroying us all
Is just how close or how far
We live from the sun
We’ve got black brown yellow white
Every pigmentation in every single shade
The colours may be different
But we are all the same made
